Alpha Machines is a manufacturer, supplier and exporter of machinery for manufacturing incense sticks. we supply our range of machinery and sticks to leading manufacturers and exporters in India.
Alpha Machines is a 63 year old company, which started its first unit by the name of Alappat Industrials in Trichur district of Kerala, India. The company is also a supplier of machinery for Tyre/Rubber Industries, Plywood Industries, Match Stick Industries, Roofing Tiles and Brick Industries. In the Coimbatore unit, the company makes machinery for incense sticks.
Alpha Machines continuously upgrades its machines to suit to the requirements of the customers.
Product Range/Process
- Powder Coated Agarbathi Processing on Machine: It is a totally different process from the conventional way of hand rolling of sticks
- The Coating and Polishing of Sticks:
A fully automatic machine is used for powder coating and polishing of
sticks in bunches, in 15 to 25 seconds per batch, in a pair of drums
operated by motor/reducer drive through electronic timers controlling
the sequence of operation. An exclusive dabbing machine is in the
development stage. Only 3 unskilled hands (men or women) are required
to produce the powder coated and polished sticks. This equipment can be
used for both round and square shaped sticks
- Dust Collector: Since
this system uses the ingredients in powder form, it is necessary to
provide a Dust Collector for pollution free and clean atmosphere. Alpha
Machines developed a suitable dust collector attached to the machine,
which operates in auto cycles. As an option, the company also provides
a vacuum cleaning provision for dusting the machine & its
surroundings
- Dryers: The sticks are dried in oven type or conveyor type dryers
- Perfume Spraying System:
The company has a conveyor type perfume application system. The perfume
is sprayed on the dried sticks through a special kind of nozzle
assembly in the slow moving conveyor, arranged one over the other, with
a capacity to spray 4.8 million sticks per day.
The great advantage of this system is that you can control the quantity
of perfume by adjusting the spray nozzles to any quantity you want,
whereas the conventional method of dipping does not have any control on
consumption of perfume. This increases savings on costly perfume.
